A-Frame Signs: The Price in Every City

An A-frame sign is a sandwich board you carry, not a panel you stake. An 18x24 is $115. A 24x32 is $145. That price is the same in Oshawa, Toronto, Mississauga, and every other city on this site. Price a new board in the new sign tool. Price a new face on a board you own in the update tool.

The street decides whether you need one. The city does not change the print.

What does an A-frame sign cost?

You are buying legs you will reuse, plus vinyl on the faces. The 18x24 is the board that fits a sidewalk, a lobby, and a condo entrance. The 24x32 is the board for a wide approach where people are still in a car when they read it. Neither size gets cheaper at two or more. A second board is the same price as the first.

BoardNewFull restickerHalfThird
18x24$115$60$35$25
24x32$145$75$40$30

A full resticker replaces the whole face. A half covers the brokerage bar or the listing block. A third is a strip for the name and phone. The legs stay. That is why a brokerage switch is a resticker, not a new board, as long as the frame still stands square.

Open house inserts are separate. An 18x24 set is $30. A 24x24 set is $35. The insert holds Saturday's address. The board holds you.

Delivery is $15 flat on the order where the van runs, which is the GTA, Durham Region, and the towns already on a van route: Port Perry, Uxbridge, and Beaverton. Rush is $25 flat if the open house moved up. Pickup at the Oshawa shop is free everywhere, and it is the way the board travels to Peterborough, Lindsay, Cobourg, and Port Hope. Those four cities are outside the van radius, so this page does not quote a delivery fee there.

Where does an A-frame earn its place?

Same board. Three kinds of street.

No lawn to stake. A condominium has a lobby or a building entrance, not a boulevard. Downtown and midtown Toronto, North York, the lake buildings in Etobicoke and Mississauga, and any suite stack in Oshawa or Whitby: the A-frame is the sign people actually see. Agents in those buildings often order the board first and a lawn sign second. See how that shows up on the Toronto, Etobicoke, and Oshawa pages. The hardware does not change between them.

People on foot. A main street, a corner with a sidewalk, a downtown block in Oshawa, Whitby, or any of the older town centres. The board stands where a driver has slowed or a pedestrian is already walking. An 18x24 is enough there. The 24x32 earns the extra $30 when the reader is still moving.

A detached street with a lawn sign already up. The lawn sign works all week. The A-frame works on open house day, at the end of the driveway or the sidewalk, and then it goes in the car. On a cul-de-sac with no foot traffic, two more directionals do more than a board. How many of those stakes to set is in the open house signs guide.

One board covers every city you work. Print it once, carry it from an Oshawa open house to a Toronto lobby to a Mississauga building entrance. What changes by city is whether the van drops it or you pick it up, not the size and not the price. The full list is on the service areas page.

What should you print on the board?

Name, phone, colours, and the brokerage lockup. That is the face you can stand in every city without reprinting.

Leave the civic number off the vinyl. A board that says one address is custom once and waste the week after. Put the house on the insert: $30 for the 18x24 set, $35 for the 24x24 set. Swap the insert on Saturday morning. The legs and the printed face stay in the trunk.

Keep the type large. People read an A-frame from a few metres, closer than a lawn sign and still not close enough for a paragraph. Brokerage, your name, your phone. One extra at most. Type size and contrast for a face that has to be read outdoors are in the lawn sign design guide. The board is a crop of that system, not a flyer on legs.

If the brokerage template looks dull, do not out-design it on the first board. A lockup you are allowed to print is worth more than a clever one you have to reprint.

When should you resticker instead of buying another board?

Resticker when the legs are sound and the face is stale. A new 18x24 is $115. A full resticker of that face is $60. The $55 gap is a new frame, not a better print. A half overlay is $35. A third is $25. On the 24x32 those three jobs are $75, $40, and $30, against $145 for a new board.

Order the full resticker when the lockup changed. Order the half when only the brokerage bar changed. Order the third when the phone or the designation changed and the rest of the face is current. Order a new board when the legs wobble, the hinge is done, or the panel is cracked. Vinyl will not straighten a dead frame.

Eight tired 18x24 faces at a brokerage switch are eight restickers at $60, which is $480, against eight new boards at $920. The file can be identical. The waste is buying legs you already carry.

Who prints A-frame signs, and how do they get there?

True Sign Group prints the board in Oshawa for agents across the GTA, Durham Region, and the cities further east. The graphic is vinyl applied to the panel. Pickup at the shop is free.

Where the van already runs, delivery is $15 flat on the order, whether that order is one board or a board plus stakes. That covers Toronto and the rest of the GTA, Durham Region including Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, Pickering, and Clarington, and Port Perry, Uxbridge, and Beaverton.

Peterborough, Lindsay, Cobourg, and Port Hope are printed at the same price and picked up in Oshawa. A panel can ship on its own if you ask; the frame is the expensive thing to move, so this page does not invent a courier price for it.

How much is an A-frame sign?

An 18x24 A-frame is $115. A 24x32 is $145. Neither price drops at two or more. A full resticker on a board you already own is $60 for the 18x24 and $75 for the 24x32.

Is an A-frame sign a different price in Oshawa than in Toronto?

No. The printed price is the same in every city, from Oshawa and the rest of Durham out to Toronto, Peel, Halton, and York. Delivery is a flat $15 where the van already runs. Peterborough, Lindsay, Cobourg, and Port Hope are free pickup in Oshawa.

Should an A-frame show the house address?

No. Print your name, phone, and brokerage lockup on the board, and put the address on an insert. An 18x24 insert set is $30. A board printed with one civic number works for one Saturday.
